Tales of Vesperia Week is an event for fans to come together to celebrate Tales of Vesperia and its related side materials.The second annual Vesperia week will begin January 5th and last until the 11th! Do I need to participate each day?

No, you can do as many or as few days as you want to! We want everyone to enjoy the event without stressing, so make sure not to push yourself too hard!

Do I need to follow the daily prompts?

Each day has multiple prompts - We hope that in this way the options are broad enough to be open to interpretation, while still having some specificity for those who would prefer that.
However, if none of a day's prompts speak to you, you're free to do your own thing! Or conversely, if you'd like to create something that fits all of a day's prompts then you are more than welcome to do that too!

Is this event limited to a specific medium of fanwork?

Nope! Feel free to create in any medium you wish - art, writing, videos, edits, cosplay... anything and everything goes!

Will you be promoting content created for the week?

Of course! Just make sure you tag your posts with #vesperiaweek so we can find it! (There will also be more specific tags for each sub-week) There will be the option to submit to an AO3 collection also.

Are crossovers and OCs allowed?

Yes! But we ask that you please have the focus be on the Vesperia-aspect of the crossover, and that the OC in question was created for/has been optimised for Vesperia's world.
On that note, works based on Vesperia content in Asteria, The Rays, Link and Crestoria is also okay, so long as a Vesperia character is part of the main focus.

Is NSFW content allowed?

Short answer, yes!
- We will not be directly promoting NSFW content on Twitter, as there are no true ways to warn people of a tweet's content prior to seeing it. We will be instead compiling all NSFW content for each week into a moment so it can be found by those who want to see it.
- We will promote NSFW content on Tumblr, provided it is beneath a read more and tagged appropriately.
- We will not promote any NSFW content that includes minor or minor-coded characters. This includes: Rita, Karol, Patty, Nan, Gauche, Droite, Harry, Witcher. This includes if the character is aged-up.

Is ship content okay for the general character weeks?

Yes, knock yourselves out!
(Though it is worth noting that we have a week dedicated specifically to ship content - both platonic and romantic - and also a ship-related prompt list for each of the potential character weeks.)
We will not, however, promote any content that includes adult/minor ships - things that can be taken as platonic or one-sided are fair game and will be boosted, but anything explicitly romantic is a no go!

Are late submissions okay?

Yes, they are - we'll still be doing our best to check the tags between events! But make sure you drop us a CuriousCat letting us know if you’d like the submission promoted!
